Eli Fesler is quite the character (as someone who has been lucky enough to share a public speaking class together, I would know!). When he is taking a break from studying for his major of Plastics and Polymers Engineering Technology, Eli is either sleeping (one of his favorite activities) or getting involved on campus. He plays the tenor saxophone in the FSU Symphony Band, and participates in an RSO called “Standing in the Gap”. Standing in the Gap is a campus Christian fellowship. Eli is also enjoys wrestling. His love for the sport earned him a spot as captain on his high school team. At Ferris, he’s played on teams in intramural volleyball and football. Eli shares his knowledge of sports by working as a student athletic trainer. By holding this position, he works with the athletic teams, preventing and treating injuries. Besides being musically talented and athletically talented, Eli shares his personality and talent of communication and service. He participates in many community service opportunities, like Rake n’ Run or being a team leader at the Big Event. Anyone that is around Eli knows that he is an Honors student capable of many accomplishments in his future.
