Jennifer Hager is the kind of student that brings magic to the Honors Program! This Resort Management junior not only has a positive influence on campus through RSOs and community service, but also stretches her hard work all the way down to Disney World in Orlando, Florida as she participates as the Disney College Program Campus Representative for Ferris State University. Jennifer also demonstrates leadership through Entertainment Unlimited, as the one of the Eboard’s Programming Coordinator, and was recently elected at President of Entertainment Unlimited for the 2013-2014 school year. As a member of the Conversation Partners, Jennifer donates her time to help ease the transition for exchange students through tutoring and mentoring. She has also been a student employee for the past two semesters through the Career Services and Student Leadership & Activities Office as an Administrative Assistant. After Jennifer is completed with her studies at FSU upon graduation in fall of 2014, she hopes to travel to Australia for an abroad internship. She then wishes to take on a professional internship with Disney, which could land her a career in Recreation Management and/or Resort Hotel Operations within the Disney Corporation. It is no surprise that Jennifer’s schedule is packed full all of the time, so when asked how she manages stress, she replied, “I don’t have time for stress, so I kick it to the curb!” With the very little free time that Jennifer has, she likes to unwind by going for a run, and especially taking time to relax on the weekends. This amazing student has definitely demonstrated her many leadership skills, scholastic abilities, and dedication to the Honors Program throughout her time at FSU. Be on the lookout for her next big accomplishment, and don’t be afraid to take a visit to the Disney College Program information table to chat if you see her!
